Matsuyama Elementary School
is holding its
23nd Annual Fourth of July Fun 5K Run/Walk
the same morning as the annual “Spirit of the Pocket” parade.
​
This fundraiser is fun for the whole family.
It directly benefits our incoming 6th grade students offsetting the cost to attend the Sly Park Environmental Science Camp.

Check-in: 7:00-7:45
​
Race Starts at 8:00 am
Where?
Starts & finishes at
Matsuyama Elementary School,
7680 Windbridge Drive.
​
The 5K route travels throughout beautiful Pocket/Greenhaven community to the canal and along the greenbelt before turning back to finish back at the Start.
​
There will be one water station located at the midway turnaround point.
​
The race path will be clearly marked on the day of the event.
ENTRY FEES
​
Early Registration $15 on or before May 29
Late Registration $20 May 30 -July 4
​
Registration by May 17 guarantees a Fun Run T-shirt
Registrations after May 17 -- T-shirts are not guaranteed

5K entry includes a cotton t-shirt, bib number, post-race refreshments, and eligibility for awards.

Pre-Reg Event Packets will be sent home with the sponsored child prior to the end of the school year

Pre-Reg Runners - please contact your sponsored student for race bibs.

Late Reg Runners will receive their bibs the day of the race.
